As of yesterday my little boy is 10 months old! Weighing in at 23 lbs he's still a big boy! We've had a busy month, he had tubes put in his ears they have been a big success so far no ear infections in almost a month!! That's big for us, we just had his follow up appt his hearing is great and no fluid on his ears they said he should take a big leap in talking now since they told us he was a little behind at his 9 month appt.... He's def started blabbering more, still mainly only saying ma-ma, he sometimes says hey, uh oh and bye bye. He learned how to wave bye bye this month, he can now stand on his own, only for a few seconds but he's def getting good balance he isn't walking on his own yet but he def walks great while holding onto his puppy dog! He got 2 teeth this month as well, for my first mothers day We went to the beach, it was our first big beach trip to kick off the season, he loves playing in the sand and water at the beach it's a good thing because we will be tere a lot this summer hopefully! We took his bath tub and that was a big hit he had a bi time playing at the beach with Ava, Clara and sawyer! He loves puppy dogs and cuddling with mommy, he's def got pretty bad separation anxiety with me but thinking its just a stage...

9 months old
3 months and my little man will be one already... Slow down time I want p to stay little forever!!! So for a quick recap this month parker got to attend his first baseball game with his buddy kale! He loved baseball he sat completely still on my lap the whole time which is pretty unheard of as he is very active these days we also had a special visit from one of Parker's girlfriends miss Raleigh we went to the garner baseball game and nc state spring football game with the Guys! While the Guys were in town Parker decided to start crawling!! He's into EVERYTHING now! we still can't get him to say da-da "ma ma" and blabbering is about all we get for now along with the occasional "hey" and other random things...he loves bath time and splashing in the water. I think he's gonna have a blast at the pool and beach this summer! He's pulling up on everything he can't get his hands on , health wise we've still been battling ear infections, allergies, and eczema, but he is still the happiest baby ever we are so lucky and so in love. We are having a minor procedure he will be getting tubes put in his ears this coming Tuesday he will have to be put to sleep not for long but I'm def nervous but I know it'll be for the best, just say an extra prayer for him Monday night and Tuesday :). Here are some photos from the last month....

DIY diaper genie refill
So we've been lucky enough to have gotten plenty of diaper genie refills from baby showers that we haven't had to buy any up to this point. I went to get a new refill and realized we were completely out now before going out to try and buy some I remembered pinning something on pinterest about making your own so of course I had to challenge myself and see if I could do it myself! And I did and it really wasn't that hard or complicated so I'm excited and figured I'd share. The Sahm's blog I found this on shared that for 3 years of diaper genie refills the cost was $1086 and for 3 years of materials of the DIY refills she spent $108! Wow that is a huge difference.
So here's how you do it if your interested...
What you'll need:
A trash bag
An empty diaper genie refill
Refer to the photo below for a visual...
Take a trash bag and open it enough to get a hold of all 4 corners of the opening of the bag. On the top of the genie refill you'll see little holes thread the corners of the top of the bag through every other hole (clock terms it would be 12,3,6 and 9 o clock). Once you thread them through the hole feed the bag through the diaper genie like you would with a normal refill and the tuck the top of the genie refill to make it neater. Voila your done its really that simple.

It's like I've waited my whole life.....
Today is mine and Adams wedding anniversary, about this time two years ago I was surrounded by all my awesome friends getting pampered and ready for one of the biggest days in my life! I will never forget that day my friends and family made it a memorable one! Over 9 years ago I was lucky enough to start dating my perfect match.... No one else could put up with me and my crazy ways like he does! So much has already happened since we said I do two years ago and i can wait to see what the future holds, I am so blessed to be able to call him not only my husband and baby daddy but also my best friend!

Finding special formula
I have been searching for Parker's special formula (puramino) for over a month now, everywhere kept saying their warehouse was out of stock and there was no back order date in the computers! Luckily we had enough from friends who were able to get us samples to make it through the month of not being able to find it! Thankful for the angels God sent us to give us the sample formula not sure what we would have done if not! Anyhow over a month later I tried calling family medical supply in fuquay never would have thought of them to be an option but they were able to order it and had it ready within a week! So if any other moms have the same problem try family medical supply! I know there is one in Dunn, smithfield, and fuquay!
