Roasted honey carrots

So my cousin was over last weekend and we grilled out and I tried making some roasted honey glazed carrots and they turned out really good! Def more like dessert then a side but if you like sweets and carrots try them out!

Roasted honey carrots

4 tbsp of honey
4 tbsp of butter
3 tbsp of packed brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients except for carrots then pour mix over top of carrots make sure to coat all of them!

Then bake them in the oven until tender , didn't take long maybe like 20 mins on 350-400 degrees

What's cooking on the crockpot?

For supper tonight I've got smoked sausage, green beans, and potatoes in the crock pot. Super easy recipe I found online and the best part is supper is already cooked at this house!

All you need is ...
1/2 onion sliced
2 cans of green beans
4 medium potatoes cut up
1 lb of smoked sausage (cut up in bite size pieces)
1/2 tsp pepper
Salt to taste

Put all the ingredients in the crock pot EXCEPT for the smoked sausage add water to barely cover ingredients. Cook on low for 4-6 hrs, an hour before serving add the smoked sausage DO NOT STIR when it's finished cooking then you can stir it up and serve w a slotted spoon for the water to drain out or drain the whole pot.


And dinners cooked!

Womble park

Spent this beautiful afternoon at Womble park in holly springs, it's A good park for kids of all ages if you live in the area and haven't been it's worth checking out. Here's some pics from today of my little chunky legs! Haha

Loving the beach :)

So we are training Parker early to be a beach bum this being his 3rd trip at least (out of my belly) going to the beach he had such a good time today on his first trip to bass pro shops i dont know who was more excited parker or adam to show him all the outdoors equipment and live fish he loved loved the fish tanks and all the fish and enjoyed his first taste of Krispy Kreme hot now doughnuts!

Finally found a solution....

So I've had a hard time getting Parker through the night on one diaper, he seems to pee through it a lot! We've tried putting diaper on tighter, every different brand of diaper then every type of diaper with in the brands like swaddlers, cruisers, etc.. We just switched him from a size 3 to size 4. So i figured a size 4 should be plenty big for night time i didnt think a size 5 was the answer i figured that would be too big. So he's just starting to be in size 4 diapers and they fit good but for the last week he had peed through his diaper and we had to change his clothes, crib sheets and everything about 2-4 am every morning, after trying diff diapers every night. The cruiser diapers were the only ones we could use before that held him through so I finally decided to go buy size 5s and we've made it through the night for 2 nights straight now without over flowing the diaper so size 5 cruisers it will be at night lol.... So if you are having the same problem try pampers cruisers in a size bigger :)

7 months old

I can't believe our little man is SEVEN months old today.  The last 7 months have flown by and my baby isn't so little any more.  Here are a few photographs we took of him today....as you can see his new favorite thing to do is squeal so instead of smiling for photos today he decided to squeal for them haha, he is the light of our life and keeps us very entertained!
